The Life and Career of Pierre Poilievre

Pierre Poilievre is a Canadian politician, who has been serving as a Member of Parliament since 2004. Born in Calgary, Alberta in 1979, Poilievre attended the University of Calgary where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He then went on to obtain his law degree from the University of Dalhousie in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

After completing his studies, Poilievre began his political career as a policy analyst for the government of Ontario. He then moved on to serve as the Special Assistant to the Minister of Industry before being elected as a Member of Parliament for the Canadian Alliance in the 2004 federal election. He has since been re-elected four times under the Conservative Party of Canada.

Poilievre has held various positions within the government, including Minister of State for Democratic Reform, Minister of Employment and Social Development, and Minister of Finance. He is known for his conservative views and his strong stance on free market policies. Poilievre is also known for his dedication to his constituents and his hard-working approach to his role as a Member of Parliament.
